Casanova is a 2012 Malayalam-language romantic action thriller film directed by Rosshan Andrrews and written by Bobby & Sanjay. It stars Mohanlal in the titular role, along with an ensemble cast of Shriya Saran, Vikramjeet Virk, Raai Laxmi, Roma Asrani, and others. The film features original soundtrack composed by Gopi Sundar, Alphons Joseph, and Gowry Lekshmi, and a film score composed by Sundar.

The film is about Casanova, a billionaire playboy, the owner of Casanova's Eternal Spring, an international chain of flower boutiques. He has at his beck and call a faithful array of female followers including his staff, friends and former girlfriends, who will do anything for him. He tries to avenge the death of his girlfriend, who was murdered by a gang of robbers, by entrapping them through a reality TV show.
Produced on a budget of 12 crore, it was one of the most expensive Malayalam films ever made at that time. Confident Casanovva was released in India on 26 January 2012. The Hindi remake rights to the film were bought by Ketan Shah for 15 million (US$190,000).

Reception
The film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. It was praised for its technical aspects, cinematography, music, and Mohanlal's performance, but criticized for its weak script, direction, editing, and length. It was also compared unfavorably to Hollywood films like Ocean's Eleven and The Italian Job. The film was a commercial failure at the box office, recovering only half of its production cost. It was also affected by piracy issues and online leaks.
